ResponseAt level of medial malleolus, immediately posterior to tibial artery, infiltrate 5-10 ML of lignocaine (or long acting)
If unable to palpate pulse injection should be estimated halfway between medial mal and achilles tendon

ResponsePosteiror tibial nerve - as above
Sural nerve - 3-5 mL s/c in a band between achilles tendon and 1cm above lateral mal
SPN - 4-10 mL of anasthetic in band between lateral mal and EHL tendon
DPN - Dorsiflex the foot and insert needle 1cm above medial mal aiming underneath EHL tendon and advance until you hit the tibia - inject 3-5 mL
Saphenous Nerve - Inject 2-5 mL s/c between medial mal and anterior tibial tendon
Sural nerve - 3-5 mL s/c in a band between achilles tendon and 1cm above lateral mal
SPN - 4-10 mL of anasthetic in band between lateral mal and EHL tendon
DPN - Dorsiflex the foot and insert needle 1cm above medial mal aiming underneath EHL tendon and advance until you hit the tibia - inject 3-5 mL
Saphenous Nerve - Inject 2-5 mL s/c between medial mal and anterior tibial tendon

Tib ant, EHL, DP Artery + Vein, DPN, EDL, Fibularis tertius

Tib post, FDL, AVN (neurovascular bundle - post tib A+V, Tibial N), FHL
Posterior to lateral mal - Peroneus longus + Brevis + sural nerve (no mnemonic)
